GOAL:
How to convert reports written in a character version of Results into reports that can be used by GUI Results
FIX:
The interface consists of a few different widgets the most important of which are:
1. Query Directory File
2. Output Directory
3. Add button
4. Ok button.
The entire interface is documented in context sensitive online help, accessable through the help button on the tool itself.
The following are the criterea and possible problems that may occur in the context of using the 'Output directory' field.
If entering the following value(s) in the field, the associated results will occur:
VALUE RESULTS
"." (dot) The new .qd7 (Query Directory) file and report files
will be created in your current directory (Specified by
'Start-In').
" " (Blank) The new .qd7 (Query Directory) file and report files
will be created in the directory where the original
Query Directory file resides.
<drv>:\<path> The new .qd7 (Query Directory) file and report files will be created in the directory specified.
