Kbase 20887: Error 5894 Trying to Run Automation Code Over an AppServer

SUMMARY:
When you connect to a Progress AppServer from a Win32 client and try to run automation code that creates an automation server, the following error might be reported in the AppServer.log file:
Error occurred while creating/connecting to automation
server for:
Word.application.Access is denied.
Error code: 0x80070005 <filename.p> (5894)
SOLUTION:
One possible reason for this error might be the security settings within the Distributed COM Configuration tool.
To check these settings, run the Windows program dcomcnfg.exe and ensure that the required users have access to launch the automation object.
