This solution applies to SonicMQ Version 3.0. It discusses the following error you might receive when you start an encrypted broker:
Starting SonicMQ Broker, please wait...
ROUTING_NODE_NAME must be set. Configuration failed.
Fix configuration and restart.
EXPLANATION:
The error occurs because the start of an encrypted broker requires a password. If you have encrypted and deployed your broker.ini file, you must start the broker with the same password you used when you encrypted it.
SOLUTION:
Supply the correct password with the /p parameter when you start the broker. For example:
SonicMQ-Install-Dir\bin>startbr /p password
