SYMPTOM(s):
SYSTEM ERROR: CRC failure on backup header block (1058)
Tape failure encountered when using PROREST utility.
CHANGE:
Backup tape was created with a different Progress release than the one used to read it.
CAUSE:
The Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) value that was recorded on the tape is different that they one calculated by PROREST at the time of restore.
FIX:
Verify that all environment variables refer to the same Progress release that was used to create the backup tape.
