SUMMARY:
Multiple connections to a SonicMQ server that is configured as a configuration server in a cluster might generate the following errors:
[146] progress.message.broker.EStartupFailure: Could
not connect to config server at tstst14:2506:
***[129]
progress.message.client.EUserAlreadyConnected***
EXPLANATION:
SonicMQ allows servers to be configured as a collection of
Inter-connected servers known as a cluster. A cluster allows servers to communicate directly with each server in the cluster. The cluster is managed by a server called the configuration server.
In order for the configuration server to accept multiple remote server connections, each server connecting to it must specify a unique BROKER_NAME. If there are multiple servers installed on the same machine, a unique BROKER_NAME and a unique PORT must be specified in order for the servers to be started.
