CAUSE:
The Coded Character Set Identifier (CCSID) is incorrectly set on the AS/400. By default, the CCSID is set to the *SYSVAL code page.
FIX:
Set this value to 37. To do this, change the user profile of the user who started the Progress AdminServer (the default is Progress). Change the setting for Coded Character Set Identifier.
