SYMPTOM(s):

Error 4130 starting up a character (ChUI) client.

Warning: Invalid ACCELERATOR given in string: <STRING>. (4130)

CAUSE:

This warning is related to the ACCELERATOR key commands. Each command <STRING> specified with this warning indicates that its accelerator key or key combination is not defined in the PROTERMCAP file as it should be.
The accelerator keys are Progress shortcuts that perform some predefined actions or commands when you press that key or key combination (such as control-X to execute the current screen, that is defined as GO, etc.).

FIX:

Examine the PROTERMCAP file located in your $DLC directory to ensure that the keys listed with the above warning message are defined in the terminal definition section of the file.
You can also try to do "TERM=vt100; export TERM" and / or try other terminal types before you invoke Progress.

To find out what type of terminal Progress is looking for, use the "echo $TERM" command.
