What C Compilers are used for HLI/HLC on PC platforms
V6 PC HLI/HLC Compilers
When using HLI/HLC on a PC platform (DOS, Windows, OS/2), the
following Microsoft C compilers are available:
Microsoft C600
Microsoft C700 (note: TODAY function does not work with this
release of Microsoft's compiler)
Microsoft Visual C/C++ V1.0 or V1.5
However, not every Progress versions supports all of the above
compiler releases. The following is a list of Progress versions
with the Microsoft Compiler versions that are supported:
