SUMMARY:
This solution applies to SonicMQ Versions 2000.1 and 3.0.x. It
explains the use of the SonicMQ Version 3.0 Migration Utility.
EXPLANATION:
The SonicMQ Version 3.0 Migration Utility is available for download
via the "Additional Software" link at:
http://www.sonicsoftware.com/cgi-bin/sonic.cgi/download_menu.w
This utility allows you to to preserve your SonicMQ 2000.1
configuration and data when upgrading from SonicMQ 2000.1 to SonicMQ
3.0.x. It must be run against an installation of SonicMQ 2000.1
Build 1857.
The SonicMQ version and build number can be viewed by selecting
Help->About in SonicMQ Explorer, and also appears in the broker output
on startup, which by default goes to the console, but may be
redirected to a log file. If you are running a build other than 1857,
you must first install this build before running the Migration
Utility.
Build 1857 is available for download via FTP; contact your regional
Tech Support Center for complete instructions on obtaining this build.
