GOAL:
What is the compatibility between a WebSpeed Client and the Progress Database?
FIX:
WebSpeed Clients follow the same rules as any Progress client for database connection when considering different version.
WebSpeed can connect to databases that are part of the same major release, or the previous major version.
A client/server connection is the only option when the versions are not exactly the same.
For example WebSpeed 3.1B can connect to a Progress database version 8.x or 9.x database.
The following is a list of which WebSpeed products and the Versions they belong to:
WebSpeed -> Progress

1 -> 7.3 (32-bit NT)
2.0 -> 8.0 (32-bit NT)

3.0 -> 9.0
