Log Files Don't Appear in Progress Explorer
CAUSE:
A software that uses Microsoft Management Console Version 1.2 (MMC 1.2) might have been installed. E.g. MS SQL 2000 installed on Windows NT will replace MMC 1.1 with MMC 1.2
The log viewer is intentionally disabled on the MMC Version 1.2 (comes with e.g. with Windows 2000, MS SQL Server 2000).
The reason why the Log viewer is disabled with MMC 1.2 is due to a fatal error (Microsoft bug) inside the MMC.
FIX:
A possible fix could be to replace the MMC 1.2 with MMC 1.1 but which consequences this might give the new installed software is unknown.
Or-
Look in the working directory for the log files.
