SYMPTOM(s):
Error 4395 occurs when starting up a Progress session
Progress session being started up with -rr parameter
This client is not licensed to use the startup parameter <startup parm>. (4395)
This client is not licensed to use the startup parameter -rr. (4395)
Client has a ProVISION license.
CAUSE:
This is expected behavior. The -rr startup parameter cannot be used if you only have a ProVISION license installed.
FIX:
In order to use this parameter you must have at least one of the following products installed along with your ProVISION license:
- Client Networking
- ODBC DataServer
- Personal Database
- Workgroup Database
- Enterprise Database
- Oracle DataServer
- SQL Server DataServer
- AppServer
- Character Client
