SYMPTOM(s):
Connection to the AdminServer with Explorer is successful, but databases do not start
Tried installing many different versions of JDK (1.1.5 to 1.3.0)
Error registering with Admin Server. (8845)
Time out limit (<max_wait> seconds) exceeded waiting for ACK. (9149)
FIX:
Reinstall Progress. The experimentation with the versions of JDK (from 1.1.5 to 1.3.0) leaves the Linux machine JDK in a confused state.
