Error occurs when installing on UNIX.
The installation utility does not detect any Progress configuration file in <path>. Select an alternate destination path, erase the current destination path or install into a pre-existing path.
CAUSE:
Trying to install Progress 9.1x into a previously created directory. In other words, if you're trying to install Progress to a newly created (empty) $DLC directory. The option "Install the PROGRESS products in the pre-existing destination path" has been selected and is pointing to the newly created DLC directory. If this is the case, the Progress installation utility will attempt to locate and upgrade a current copy of the progress.cfg file.
FIX:
If the intent is to install another version of Progress on the same UNIX machine, do not choose the "pre-existing" destination path option. Instead, choose the "alternate" destination path. This option will allow you to specify an alternate path and will create this new directory if it does not previously exist.
