SYMPTOM(s):
SYSTEM ERROR: Error writing backup header (1056)
Error 1056 occurs when running PROBKUP utility to tape devices.
CAUSE:
The reason the error message appears is that the value of the default block size on some more recent tapes devices is 16K when PROBKUP depends on this value being less than or equal to 1K. The problem has been encountered on Windows 2000 and recent tape devices. It has also been encountered on Windows NT4 using a DLT device.
FIX:
Upgrade to latest commerical release, 9.1B
