SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot Remove Subdirectory from SmartObject Instance by right clicking the SmartObject, selecting (Properties) from the popup menu and then clicking the (File...) button
Using the Progress AppBuilder and dropping SmartObjects on a SmartContainer
CAUSE:
It is possible that the SmartObject might contain a subdirectory as part of the file name even though your PROPATH has listed that subdirectory.
FIX:
If this happens and you find that you are unable to remove the subdirectory from the file name modify your PROPATH using the PROPATH Editor (available in Pro*Tools).
Modify the PROPATH so that the [current directory] entry (normally the first entry) is moved (after) all of your entries that list subdirectories.
Making this change to your PROPATH allows you to remove the subdirectory from the SmartObject file name.
