CRC values different between UNIX and DOS
The CRC values for the same database definition will be different on
UNIX and DOS platforms.
If you copy the definition from UNIX to DOS or vice versa and display
the crc values from _file they will be different on each platform.
This is a design bug in version 6 that has been fixed in version 7.
The problem is caused by the byte swapping that occurs on each
platform.
