V7: Prodb cannot find the demo, sports or empty database
If you do not set the DLC environment variable to the directory where
you installed PROGRESS, PROGRESS generates an error stating that the
demo, sports, or empty database cannot be found.
It is not sufficient to set the DLC environment variable in the
progress.ini file. The PRODB utility is a DOS executable and does
not check progress.ini. It uses the DLC environemnt variable set
in the DOS shell. To set the DLC environment variable in the DOS
shell, follow these steps:
1> Exit from Windows.
2> Type the following command:
SET DLC = C:\<the path in which you installed PROGRESS>
For example, if you installed PROGRESS in the c:\v7\dlc
directory, type the following command:
SET DLC = C:\v7\dlc
