Error in Progress Installation of mmc.exe and HTML Help Files Error
CAUSE:
There are two applications that are required to successfully run Progress Explorer:
1. Microsoft Management Consol (MMC) version 1.1
2. Microsoft HTML help version 1.22.
If these applications fail to install correctly during the installation you receive error messages informing you that they must be installed.
FIX:
Copy the two files from an existing and successful Progress installation or from the installation CD where the installation failed.
The necessary files are located under Driveletter:\Progress directory\BIN\3party\ for a successful installation location or under 3party\mhh\chosen language/ and
3party\mmc\chosen language/ on the installation CD
The two files that need to be copied over to the unsuccessful installation are immc.exe (to file install Microsoft Management Console Version 1.1) and hhupd.exe (to update the HTML help files). You must execute the files once copied over to the correct directory.
Since netsetup will also install Progress Explorer on client machine, you may experience the same situation when running the netsetup to client. If you do experience this install issue, simply copy the files (immc.exe, hhupd.exe, msjavx86.exe) over and execute them onto client machine.
