Problems starting ProService after installation
Error 2 communicating with ProService
typical install was performed without selecting Procontrol as an additional component
CAUSE:
Error 2 on Windows NT means that the system cannot find the file specified. This can be confirmed by looking for the file prosrvc.exe in the %DLC%\BIN directory.
FIX:
Reinstall Progress correctly, either making sure you choose ProControl as an option in a Typical install, or perform a complete install.
