Failed to connect to ORACLE database . (1451)
ERROR: TNS:unable to connect to destination
Errors 1252 and 1451 are encountered when attempting to connect from the Data Administration to Oracle DataServer broker, via Unified Broker.
CAUSE:
ORACLE_HOME is not set correctly in the ubroker.properties file. The Progress Explorer does not write to the ubroker.properties file when you make changes in Explorer.
FIX:
Follow these steps to correct the problem:
1) Stop the AdminServer.
2) Edit the ubroker.properties file to reflect the correct path
and save it.
3) Restart the AdminServer.
4) Connect to Explorer.
5) Start the dataserver broker (default orabroker1).
6) Go to Data Administration.
7) Choose the dataserver menu and make the connection.
