Status: Unverified
FACT(s) (Environment):
Sybase 11.5
Sybase 11.9
ODBC DataServer 9.x.
SYMPTOM(s):
Missing stored procedures parameters within the schema holder after being pulled in correctly via DataServer Update/Create Schema utility.
CAUSE:
A Sybase bug in the Catalog Stored Procedures shipped with versions 11.5 and 11.9 causes these versions to fetch incomplete information about a column. The ODBC driver uses those stored procedures to get the information from the stored-procedure, but in this case they return inaccurate information.
FIX:
Request the newer version of the file (sycsp11.sql) and replace the older version of the file in the ODBC directory under Sybase (for example, Sybase/odbc/sycsp11.sql). Then, use the Sybase Query Analyzer to run this .sql file.
