GOAL:
The Report Builder tutorial instructions for Progress Version 9.x contain wrong information about which files to copy.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.x
SYMPTOM(s):
The instructions direct you to copy the following files:
newsport.db
newsport.bi
newsport.lg
CAUSE:
Since all databases are now multivolume, the file names have changed.
FIX:
Either copy the correct files listed below using an OS copy command (the database is a relative-path database, so an OS copy will work), or use prodb to copy the database.
newsport.db
newsport.d1
newsport.b1
newsport_7.d1
newsport_8.d1
Note that there is no .LG file here. This is because there is no newsport.lg file in the files structure in Version 9.x
