SYMPTOM(s):
Problem installing Progress
The expiration date for the configuration information entered has passed.
CAUSE:
The misleading expiration date error is caused when the type of character entered, either numeric or alphabetic.
FIX:
If a numeric character (0 through 9) is entered in place of an alphabetic character (A through Z), or the reverse then the incorrect "expiration date" error will appear.
EXAMPLE:
THE CONTROL CODE CHARACTERS SHOULD BE: 2PGXC
THE CONTROL CODE CHARACTERS ENTERED WERE: QPGXC
If the invalid CONTROL CODE character entered is a number but is the incorrect number, or if the invalid CONTROL CODE character entered is a letter but is the incorrect letter, the following error message will appear:
"The entered configuration information is incorrect. Re-enter the configuration data."
