FACT(s) (Environment):
WebSpeed 3.x
SYMPTOM(s):
Can not do remote development from AppBuilder
Error: An error occurred while reading the WebSpeed directory and will be displayed in your browser.
The browser then prompts you for a user ID and password.
Even if you supply a user ID and a password that allow access to the Web server machine, the AppBuilder will not allow access to the remote directory.
Anonymous login is disabled on WebServer
CAUSE:
AppBuilder will not allow access to the remote directory when anonymous login has been disabled. The Webserver needs to allow anonymous logins for the AppBuilder to function correctly.
FIX:
Allow for anonymous login(s)
