SUMMARY:
SonicMQ users must follow these steps to obtain a
digital certificate:
1) Generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR).
This generates a key pair. The CSR is typically generated
at the same time as the key pair.
2) Complete certificate enrollment form.
Most certificate authorities (CA) will have a location
in the server certificate request process where you can
paste the CSR.
3) Pick up Your Server Certificate
The CA typically emails you either the signed certificate
or a URL from which you can fetch the signed certificate after
verification that your certificate request matches whatever
criteria the CA applies to requests.
SonicMQ does not provide a tool for key pair and/or CSR generation.
You can obtain certificates from a public CA (such as Verisign) or you
can use a free toolkit (such as SSLeay).

Step 1: Generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR)
This is the step where you generate a key pair. And the CSR is typically generated for you at the same time.
Step 2: Complete Certificate Enrollment Form
Most CAs will have a location in the server certificate request process where you have to cut and paste in the above CSR.
Step 3: Pick up Your Server Certificate
The CA will typically email you either the signed certificate or a URL
from which you can fetch the signed certificate after they have verified that the details of your certificate request match according to whatever criteria the CA applies to requests.
SonicMQ does not provide any tool for key pair or/and CSR generation.
You can obtain certificates from a public CA (like Verisign), or you can use some free toolkit. SSLeay is an example of a toolkit that could be used.
