The volume does not contain a recognized file system. Please make
sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and the
volume is not corrupted.
FIX:
Make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and the volume is not corrupted. In this case, the problem was traced to a local disk being defined as unknown. Change this to NTFS to resolve the problem.
