Does PROGRESS/400 support AS400 latest OS V2R3 ? PTF needed
As of December 17, 1993, the latest version of OS/400 (V2R3) is
commercially available in the United States. To use V2R3 with
PROGRESS/400 Release 6.2M04 or higher, the customer might need to
apply one or both of the new IBM Program temporary Fixes (PTFs) to
OS/400.
* To use LAN Fast Path with V2R3, the customer must first apply
PTF B922352.
This PTF is only available from Progress Software. It replaces the
six PTFS required for LAN Fast Path with OS/400 V2R2. It will be
shipped as part of the standard PROGRESS/400 Release 6.2M04 media
set beginning on 27 December 1993. The customer must load and apply
it as "Temporary/Delayed".
* To use the host-based interactive and batch components of the
PROGRESS/400 4GL+DataServer product with OS/400 V2R3 , the customer
must frist apply PTF MA08709 (Licensed Program 5738999).
This PTF is available directly from IBM. The customer must load and
apply it as "Temporary".
If the customer has already received PROGRESS 6.2M04, they can order
the PTF through Progress Technical Support.
To order a PTF, the Technical Support representative fills out a media
request in TechMIS with the following guidelines.
* Specify Anne Kanour as the Sales Administration person at extension
4630.
* In the comment section, type:
- One of the following item numbers, according to the customer's
media type.

Ship PROG/400 PTF B922352 (9-track), item# 12326
Ship PROG/400 PTF B922352 (8MM), item# 12327
- "Ship a hard copy release note."
