Kbase 19620: Error 5893 for PROX.PROIDE

If a customer reports the following error:
The automation server for PROX.PROIDE is not registered properly.
Please reinstall this server or try registering it again. (5893)
they need to run:
regsvr32 <path>/dlc/bin/prox.dll
A possible reason for getting this error may be when two Progress versions of the same level are installed, for example 9.0a and 9.0b. If either of these versions is uninstalled then the remaining install will require a re-registration of the dll. The reason is that in the Windows registry there is only one entry for the prox com objects for a given version. In the above example there would be a PROX90.PROIDE, PROX90.PROCONTROLFRAME etc. Thus when an uninstall is run all the PROX90.xxx entries are removed from the registry.
Please note that if you have two versions (eg. 9.0 and 9.1) and uninstall one then the above will not occur.
