The Chado SpellText (Version 2.1) OCX from Chado Software (www.chado-software.com) has a method called CheckString() which allows you to pass in a string and have it spell checked.
The string you pass is an INPUT-OUTPUT parameter but in version 8.2 of Progress the updated string is not returned to you unless you specify the parameter as an OUTPUT parameter instead of an INPUT-OUTPUT parameter.
This problem does not occur in Progress versions 8.3 and higher.
