Summary: This knowledgebase entry describes how to fix the problem of setting the Code Layout Unit to pixels from characters in a SmartViewer.
Step by Step Details:
- Bring up a SmartViewer
- Go to it's property sheet
- Select 'Advanced'
- Select 'pixels' for 'Generated Code Layout Unit'
- Save the file
- When the SmartViewer is opened in the UIB/AppBuilder again, the change is lost and the 'Generated Code Layout Unit' is back to 'characters' again.
To Fix this:
- Go to property sheet of the SmartViewer
- Uncheck the option 'Size to fit'
- Now do the above steps from Select 'Advanced' again.
- When you save the program and open it next time, you can see the 'Generated Code Layout Unit' set to 'pixels'.
