INTRODUCTION
=============
A customer had Provision 8.3B license for Win 32 Intel (which includes Report Builder). When he started the report builder it came up with the welcome screen ("welcome to report builder") followed by:
- You are not licensed to run report builder. (4781)
Then, when he tried to connect to a database it gave the following errors:
- This client is not licensed for remote connections. (4406)
- Already logged out of Embedded SQL Interface. Request ignored. (2605)
followed by:
- You are not licensed to run report builder. (4781)
SOLUTION
=========
The Progress.cfg file contained licenses for Provision and Client Networking. So technically this should work.
It seemed that the PROCFG setting (from progress.ini file ) was set to D:\prog\ini\ . When the customer put the progress.cfg file back in the \DLC\ directory it worked fine.
