Dr. Watson with MERANT 3.50 32-Bit Progress SQL92 Driver at 0x005f4c8f
This document applies to: Progress DB V9.x & SQL92 ODBC Driver
A missing PROCLI92.DLL on NT 4.0 is causing a Dr. Watson with
MERANT 3.50 32-Bit Progress SQL92 Driver as
access violation 0xc0000005 address 0x005f4c8f.
The ODBC installation procedure installs that DLL in the directory WINNT\SYSTEM32.
If there went something wrong while installation to copy the DLL
or the PROCLI92.DLL was deleted after the installation,
although with the missing dll the ODBC connection works fine
any data operation gives the Dr. Watson.
