Error 146 during startup of batch job using Unix scheduler
This document applies to: Progress Database Server
Version and Release Number: Progress 7 and higher
SUMMARY:
If you are trying to start a batch session with BPRO, MBPRO (parameter -b on client startup) using AT command and you received the error "** Could not find terminal type <type> in file <file name>. (146)" is probably because the variable TERM is not configured on the shell used by the AT command.
Using AT command to schedule jobs to run at a later time you can specify which shell will be used for the batch session (not necessarily the same shell used for the currently session). So if you are using a different shell to execute the batch process you have to configure the TERM environment variable in the shell used for batch session before schedule the job.
