RESULTS report fail to TERMINAL Check SHELL SCRIPT quoter
If a user of RESULTS' report writer indicates that the reports will
output to disk or printer but not to TERMINAL, on unix platforms,
confirm the shell script flavor of the user. The TERMINAL output
invokes our "quoter" program and pre-processes the report output as
a datafile, placing quotes around all of each line of the output.
The procedure "seekpage.p" is then run to allow viewing 80+ columns
wide of output and to support page up/page down.
If the shell script of the user isn't correct, the PATH setting that
you think you are seeing may not be that which is in effect when
RESULTS goes to do a 'unix silent quoter' command, and the quoting
of the output fails, leading to the failure of the TERMINAL as an
output device for RESULTS reports.
