The Y2K re-release 7.3E15 on NCR Unix 3.02 produces the following
three messages when a Progress application is launched:

chki: signal 32: sigaction ret errno 22 (3693)
chki: signal 33: sigaction ret errno 22 (3693)
chki: signal 34: sigaction ret errno 22 (3693)

When this re-release was done it was required to do the port (the actual compiling and linking) on UnixWare rather than on NCR. This was due to the fact that the binary compatibility that these operating systems supported has changed in the newer versions of the operating systems. When building on NCR as was done in the original release, it was not possible to run it on other SVR4 platforms due to changes that had occurred. Building on UnixWare was the only way to get these
releases out.

Aside from these messages, which can not be suppressed, the product functions normally.

The bug logged for this is 19990929-020.

NOTE: This has now been fixed in patch 7.3E16 for UNIX V.4.
