SUMMARY:
On Digital UNIX ( Compaq Tru64 UNIX ), the actual limit of the -tok parameter is 1142 because the size of an individual token on Digital UNIX is larger than on other UNIX platforms because the token contains two pointers.
The fix for this issue has been included in patch 8.3B20 for Compaq Tru64 UNIX.
NOTE:
The -tok limit has been removed in 8.3C and 9.1A in all platforms per report 19951006-055. There is no longer a Maximum value for
the -tok parameter in 83c, 91a and later. You are now limited by the system's resources.
