FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows NT 4.0
SYMPTOM(s):
Error: Incomplete write when writing to the server. (735)
CAUSE:
Some Windows 95, 98, and NT PC client machines have a suspend mode that can break an open MS/TCP connection to the HOST which forces the above Progress error.
On these machines the suspend mode can be enabled via the systems BIOS or an HP Windows utility.
If the suspend mode is activated (due to inactivity on the HP client machine) it can break an open MS/TCP connection between the Windows 95, 98, or NT PC client machine and its host.
FIX:
Avoid enabling the suspend mode.
