In Progress 9.0A and 9.0B, Progress does not ship any drivers within the ODBC Data Source for the DataServer product line. All customers must obtain drivers from Merant.
In Progress 9.0A, Progress supports MS SQL Server 6.5 with Merant/Intersolv Driver 3.11. Merant/Intersolv Driver 3.5 and Microsoft Drivers are not supported with Progress 9.0A.
In Progress 9.0B, Progress supports MS SQL Server 6.5 with Merant/Intersolv Driver 3.5 and MS SQL Server 7.0 with Merant/Intersolv Driver 3.6. Microsoft Driver for MSSQL are supported as well, as long as there is verification with Microsoft that the proper version of their driver is being used with MS SQL Server. When in doubt, Progress recommends using the Merant driver

Starting in Progress 9.1A, Progress ships the Merant/Intersolv Driver within the DataServer installation. Two MSSQL drivers are supplied with installation. Progress provides the Merant/Intersolv Driver 3.11 within ODBC Datasource Administrator as "SQL Server 6" Driver and the Merant/Intersolv Driver 3.5 driver as "SQL Server" Driver.
In this version, Progress does not ship the Merant/Intersolv Driver 3.5 within ODBC Personal Dataserver licenses, however it is shipped within ODBC Enterprise Dataserver licenses.
