This document applies to: Progress DB and Openlink Driver V3.2.
Version and Release Number: Progress DB V8.3A, V8.3B, V9.0A, & V9.0B.
INTRODUCTION:
This knowledgebase is for informational purposes only. Progress does
NOT SUPPORT Openlink. This kbase will try to address for which OS
platforms and Progress DB Openlink has been proved to work. Any
problem that you may encounter, you should contact Openlink for
assistance.
STEP BY STEP DETAILS:
On Unix platform (only tested under Sun Solaris 2.6), the Progress DB
that have been proved to work are:
Progress V8.3A, V8.3B, V9.0A and V9.0B.
The Openlink agents for V8.3B & V9.0B were not provided but was
possible to build them with the Progress PROBUILD utility and the
object file provided by Openlink. For more information how to do this
check Openlink web page.
On WinNT platform, The Progress DB that have been to work are:
Progress V8.3A.
At this moment, there are two issues logged with Openlink in order
to provide the agents for V8.3B and V9.0A or V9.0B.
