SUMMARY:
If you have problems with the Application Compiler "looping"
indefinitely through source code on a SAMBA share, do the following:
SOLUTION:
1) Upgrade to Samba 2.0.3 or higher (2.0.5A is recommended).
2) If #1 does not resolve the problem then enable "dos filetimes =
True" for the share.
3) If both #1 and #2 do not resolve the problem then enable "dos
filetime resolution = True" for the share.
