@ Signs appearing instead of lines on SCO Openserver

INTRODUCTION:
=============

This knowledge base explains one possible solution for @ signs
appearing in Progress instead of Lines. This only applies when the
terminal is the CONSOLE.

SOLUTION:
=========

If you are running Progress on SCO Openserver and you are using the
ANSI Term then you may be seeing @ signs instead of lines when running
Progress.

To solve this issue add the following line to your .profile:

mapchan -n

However, this is a workaround for when the terminal is the CONSOLE
if you are using non-USASCII characters then your data may be
distorted - therefore test it first.
