# character cannot be used with CAN-DO
The character # cannot be used in the first argument of the CAN-DO
function. This behavior cannot be changed because this character
has special meaning for SQL, having to do with GRANT privileges.
Other special characters work fine with CAN-DO, but "#" should be
avoided.
