SYMPTOM(s):
Apptivity - Application Won't Load in Netscape When SSL=TRUE
SSL enabled applications may not load when accessed with a Netscape 4.x browser
Netscape.exe may consume a large portion of the system CPU time.
CAUSE:
This problem occurs running the application from within Developer, whether you are using a New Server, or an Existing Server, as well as in a deployment environment, independent of Developer.
This problem does not occur with a stand-alone Java client, Appletviewer, or Internet Explorer. It is due to a known problem with Netscape where the Netscape browser does not close sockets correctly.
FIX:
Upgrade Netscape or use another browser.
