CT-ISAM executable Probuild? <DLC>PROGRESS-CTOSISAM.RUN
If the customer has purchased PROGRESS for CTOS or BTOS and has added
the optional dataserver for CT-ISAM, there is already an executable
on the tape which has the dataserver feature compiled in.
In the <DLC> directory there will be a second client/single user
executable (.RUN) file called <DLC>PROGRESS-CTOSISAM.RUN.
Have the customer use the op sys utility "Command File Editor" on
the current command file, usually [sys]<sys>sys.cmds, to change
the name of the executable that the "PROGRESS 4GL" command points to
and the dataserver option should be all set.
If the customer would like both a with-CT-ISAM and without-CT-ISAM
command, then use Command File Editor to COPY rather than edit the
PROGRESS 4GL command and create a new one for the CT-ISAM executable.
If the customer needs to use the smaller executable due to limits on
memory available, there is a ProTnyRT-CTOSISAM.RUN which is CLIENT
ONLY, and has more limited capabilities for printer selection, TCP/IP
networking, and other special features.
