FACT(s) (Environment):
What is the limit of the -B parameter on VMS?
FIX:
The maximum shared memory size that is supported by Progress on VMS is currently 128 megabytes (134,217,728 bytes). The maximum segment size was increased from 16 MB to 128 MB for several operating systems (Sequent PTX, AIX, VMS, and DG-UX)
around the time of version 6.3.
On VMS, the Progress code that creates shared memory cannot create more than one segment. This might not be documented anywhere, but has been this way for many
years, since version 4.
