Cannot shutdown database using dbman command
The AdminServer is also not running
FACT(s) (Environment):
The conmgr.properties file does not have anything other than the default entries
OpenEdge 10.x
Progress 9.1x
CAUSE:
The database is not running thorough AdminServer as the conmgr.properties file does not have any entry for the running database.
FIX:
Use the following command to stop the database. Make sure to have the $DLC set and $DLC/bin is appended to the $PATH and the variables are exported before running the command:
cd to the database folder
proshut <DB-name> -by
