ODBC test connect from a client fails with No Data error
[DataDirect-Technologies][ODBC PROGRESS driver][PROGRESS] No Data.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Sqlexp connection to the broker from the broker machine to itself works
Telnet from the client to the ODBC broker port works
Windows
OpenEdge 10.2A
Progress 9.1E
CAUSE:
The ODBC client version is 9.1E and the database is 10.2A. The 9.1E ODBC client will not connect to a 10.2A database.
FIX:
Upgrade the client to OpenEdge 10.2A.
