FIX:
All resources which can be monitored in OpenEdge can be enabled or disabled from being monitored.
In the configuration options of each resource, though the exact location will vary between different types of resources, there is an option named Enabled.
If the toggle for this is deselected then from that point forward the icon representing the state of monitoring (polling) for that resource will be color coded black.
This will also list the state of polling as disabled (visible usually in the upper right corner of the screen when the resource is selected).
