Additional fields cannot be added or "joined" to the audit tables per se. However, depending on application requirements one or more of the following techniques might be used to add descriptive information to the audit tables themselves and/or reports on the audit tables:
Create a custom report to combine the audit table data with data from other tables. Some parsing of the audit table data may be required.
Create an application-defined audit event that logs all the desired information
